The Cambodia My 2nd Home (CM2H) was launched On 30 June 2022, the Ministry of Interior approved the “Cambodia My 2nd Home” golden visa programme with the main goal of promoting trade and investment.

The CM2HIt is the only government run residence by investment program, approved and recognized by the Ministry of Interior and General Department of Immigration of the Kingdom of Cambodia to allow foreigners to stay in Cambodia for 10 years. CM2H holders​ given a path to apply for a Cambodia citizenship and passport after 5 years. This program is the only official pathway to apply for a Cambodian passport in Cambodia. The CM2H program is open to all countries recognized by Cambodia. Investors can buy a real estate and register for long term residence in Cambodia.

Foreign investors who apply through the “Cambodia My 2nd Home” programme will enjoy a series of facilitation measures including a 10-year unlimited entry and exit visa. They will also benefit from Khmer Home Charity Association membership under Ministry of Interior supervision, with local insurance coverage and VIP treatment and enjoy all the advantages of the ASEAN membership.

Minimum Investment

A minimum USD 100,000 invested in real estate approved properties by Ministry of Interior. The following property projects are approved for investments so far under CM2H.

The primary investment areas, like Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville, are foreign-friendly, with a range of accommodation options, bars, restaurants, entertainment facilities, and good connectivity to other major Asian cities. In addition, there are numerous international schools and universities with internationally-recognized curricula for those with families. English is commonly spoken in urban areas, and Cambodians are widely considered welcoming people.

Conditions

  1.  The applicant must be a citizen of a country or region recognized by the Cambodian government, regardless of race, religion, or gender.
  2.  The applicant must obtain approval from the Ministry of Interior.
  3.  The applicant must be 18 years old and above.
  4.  The applicant must not posses any criminal record in Cambodia
  5.  The applicant must have an investment capital of not less than USD 100,000 in Cambodia, which including a 10-years CM2H membership and own a property recognised by the Ministry of Interior.
  6. be a citizen of a country recognized by the Government of Cambodia.

Citizenship

The Khmer nationality is available to foreigners after 5 years of living in Cambodia under CM2H. Cambodia allows dual citizenship.
