The Government of Nauru has blacklisted following countries applying for climate resilience citizenship by investment program as a part of international sanctions.
- Belarus,
- North Korea,
- Iran
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Russia,
Exceptions: An exception may be granted if the applicant has not lived in above prohibited countries as a permanent resident for at least 5 years and has no economic ties to them.
