Greece has made important investment changes to golden visa program for 2023. These changes were approved by parliament on Dec 21, 2022. It is important to know that the minimum 250,000 euros property investment will not increase remains the same for investing in inner regions of Greece and you still have time till end of 2023. Only in certain cities and municipalities and tourist areas the property investment is double to 500,000 euros.
Property Specific Regions
The minimum 250,000 euros will still be available for investors who will deposit 10% of the property’s value by 30.04.2023 and complete the purchase by 31.12.2023. After this date the minimum investment will double to 500,000€ in areas listed below
- Regional Units of Northern Athens, Central Athens and Southern Athens,
- Municipality of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni,
- Thessaloniki,
- Mykonos,
- Santorini.
Rest of Greece
The minimum 250,000 euros property investment will not increase, will always be available to invest in rest of the regions in Greece. No changes.
