Hungary Government has published list of institutions eligible for golden visa for financial donations to higher education institutions (university) and public trusts.
Foreign investors seeking Hungary Guest investor permit, must donate 1 million euro to support educational, scientific research or artistic creation activities. Under the Guest investor program rules, a visa or residence permit for guest investors may be granted to a third-country national whose entry and stay in Hungary is in national economic interest due to his/her investments realised in Hungary.

The official list of higher education institutions maintained by public trusts with a public-service mission is published by National Directorate General of Aliens Policing (Immigration office).

Donors will be issued a 10 year residence permit for their investment and the residence permit shall be renewed for another 10 years.
The Guest investor visa for guest investors shall be withdrawn by the immigration authority if the third-country national does not realise the committed investment, or does not realise it within 3 months after the issuance of his/her visa for guest investors.
