The Hungarian government has approved financial donation route eligible under Hungary Guest Investor visa program. Under this route foreigners who make a financial donation to government approved educational institutions or universities are eligible for Hungary guest investor visas.
Minimum Investment
- At least EUR 1 million and for a purpose of educational, scientific research or artistic creation activities, to a higher education institution maintained by a public trust with a public-service mission.
Guest Investor Visa
A visa for guest investors may be granted to a third-country national whose entry and stay in Hungary is in national economic interest due to his/her investments realised in Hungary. The Validity period of the residence document is maximised in 10 years, and it may be extended for up to another 10 years for the same purpose without re-investment.
Certificate
The OIF immigration will ask for a a certificate from the higher education institution maintained by a public trust with a public-service mission certifying that the higher education institution has received a financial donation from you of at least EUR 1 000 000 to support educational, scientific research or artistic creation activities.
