Grenada automatically rejects applicants refused by other countries

Grenada Citizenship by Investment

If there is anything you should know about Grenada citizenship by investment (CBI) scheme,  it is this one, and many agents dont tell you.

Grenada automatically rejects applications who were already refused by other CBI countries. This means you cannot apply for Grenada second time once your application is refused already.

Grenada cooperates with other CBI countries in Caribbean and Europe, sharing the database of refused applications.

CIP applicants applied for 5 caribbean countries undergo common vetting by the Joint Regional Communication Centre (JRCC) in  the Caribbean. JRCC crosschecks databases of international law enforcement agencies including INTERPOL. This check is in addition to due diligence checks done by third party companies.

Don’t waste your time applying for Grenada.

Besides this, below are the most common reasons Grenada could refuse applications

  •  has provided false information on his or her application form;
  •  not having received a free pardon, has at any time previously been convicted in any country of an offense for which the maximum custodial penalty for the same or similar offense in Grenada is in excess of six months imprisonment;
  • is the subject of a criminal investigation;
  •  is considered to be a potential national security risk to Grenada or to any other country;
  • is involved in any activity likely to cause disrepute to Grenada; or
  •  has been denied a visa to a country with which Grenada has visa-free travel and who has not subsequently obtained a visa to the country that issued the denial,

Another important advice we want to give to clients is, don’t buy real estate or make donation  to Grenada, BEFORE your application is approved. The standard procedure is you pay small $15K application fee to developer or agent, wait for 2-3 months until the application is approved.

If you buy real estate or make full investment before citizenship approval, chances are you could be duped or could be scammed.

Be careful! Think twice before invest your hard earned money!
