Malta Sees Surge in Residency Applications

Malta Flag

Malta permanent residency program has received record number of last minute applications during December month, before new prices go into effect from Jan 1, 2025. Earlier the agency announced new fee structure for Malta Permanent Residence Program (MPRP)

“With the recent changes in the fee structure, December witnessed a record number of applications, surpassing previous monthly records by more than threefold, said Mr. Jonathan Cardona, CEO of Malta Residency Agency.

“This success bodes well for the Agency’s goals and aspirations, making the MPRP a prominent topic in the industry once again. It is now our responsibility to uphold and reinforce the position that the entire team has diligently worked towards.”

One significant achievement has been the implementation of a dedicated risk policy for the due diligence processing of applications, keeping in mind AML6 requirements. This initiative has not only streamlined the process but has also made it more objective, leading to a remarkable increase in efficiency. As a result, we have seen a significant rise in the number of residence applications processed, nearly three times more than in previous years.

In addition to this, the team has been focusing on enhancing efficiencies in various areas to improve the overall customer experience at every touchpoint with the agency. Whether it’s during the biometrics capture or the processing of fees, our efforts have been aimed at elevating the service quality.

Looking ahead, our objective for 2025 is for Residency Malta Agency to emerge as a leader in the industry, excelling in value, customer experience, efficiency, and technology. Let’s work together to turn this vision into reality.
