St. Kitts Launches Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)

SKN Flag

The St.Kitts and Nevis Government has unveiled Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) System, set to launch on May 26, 2025, as a part of the government’s commitment to innovation, national security, and seamless travel experiences.

The eTA system, accessible via a dedicated online portal and mobile app, will streamline pre-travel authorization for visitors while enhancing border security protocols. Starting May 26, travellers worldwide can apply through the official portal (www.knatravelform.kn) or via the mobile app, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

The SKN government will offer a 50% discount on the standard eTA service charge through September 1, 2025, reducing the service charge to US$8.50. After September 1, 2025, the standard rate of US$17 will take effect.

From June 2, 2025, the Federation will further elevate its border infrastructure by integrating the eTA system with a state-of-the-art biometric corridor at the RLB International Airport. This integration will expedite passenger processing, reduce wait times and fortify national security through advanced identity verification.

By embracing digital innovation, we are not only protecting our borders but also positioning ourselves as a Caribbean leader in smart travel technology.

-Prime Minister Dr. Drew

Travelers and partners are encouraged to visit official portal, beginning May 26, 2025, or download the mobile app for seamless access to eTA services.
