certification document

As of 2024, there are about 51 countries in the world have not joined the hague convention, implementing apostilling documents. The following countries are not members of the Hague Apostille Convention and any document requested by these countries will receive a certification. Note that some of the countries listed below may require additional legalization by a Consulate or Embassy office.

In the below listed countries, where apostille is not issued, notarisation is needed with the person certifying the document must provide the following information; full name in capitals, the capacity in which the person is acting, residential or business address, telephone number and e-mail address. Where a notary public certifies a document to be a true copy of the original, that document must be authenticated by Validation of the certificate of the notary public by the appropriate government department in the case of a jurisdiction that is not a party to that convention.
